This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced DevOps Engineer who's looking for a new and exciting challenge working for one of the UK's leading retail groups.

You'll be at the forefront of a retail revolution by way of rocket fuelling our business with technology that delivers outstanding results in an ever evolving environment.

You'll be helping the engineering team deliver amazing brand experiences which will be scalable, reliable, secure and performant.

The revolution for you will involve:

  • Ownership and operation of AWS infrastructure
  • Ownership and operation of delivery pipeline
  • Assisting software and test engineers with automation of eco-systems

Key skills required for the role:

  • You'll need to be a technologist at heartand be able to demonstrate a solid understanding of the Systems Delivery Life Cycle and Site Reliability Engineering
  • Highly creative, enthusiastic, conscientious,detail-oriented self-starter
  • Good commercial experiencewith AWS (ideally including some of the following: VPC, Lambda, EC2, Elastic Beanstalk, Elastic Cache, Route53, SNS, DynamoDB, Firehose, Kinesis, Cloudwatch),
  • Experience with Automation andOrchestration tooling including Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, Docker
  • Working knowledge of key/valuestores, database technologies (SQL and noSQL), application monitoring and content delivery systems, including Redis, NewRelic, Akamai, Fastly/Varnish, ELK, Grafana etc
  • Good experience of continuous integration/delivery,code management, code workflow, security and performance scanning tools
  • Keep up to date onthe industry best practices and have the drive for continual
  • Experience of a broad and diverse range of technologies such asNodeJS, ReactJS, Python, Selenium, Cucumber, SonarQube, TerraLint etc would be an advantage
  • Previous experience in high end, high demand E-Commercewill be a significant advantage
  • This role will require an element of 3rdLine on-call which is shared between the team
